Through My Eyes

Timing was everything.

National Women’s History Month

March happens to be National Women’s History Month.  I wasn’t even aware of this until it was brought up at the last Asian Pacific Americans for Progress meeting here in SF.  At the meeting, I volunteered to contribute a blog post on the APAP website sometime this week profiling a woman of social significance or raising a discussion regarding the challenges women (particularly Asian women) still face in terms of equality, discrimination, etc.

If you could name one compelling woman who has impacted a community, social issue, or an industry in the last 12 months, who would it be?

If you were to talk about what it is like to be a woman in 2010, what would you say?  I’m still brainstorming, but would love to hear what you have to say.  Feel free to contribute!
