Through My Eyes

Timing was everything.

The 28th Annual SF Int’l Asian American Film Festival

with 2 comments

Now, try saying that ten times…

One of the most popular, longest running, film festivals in San Francisco opened last night and will go through Sunday, March 21st .  The 11 day event will hold screenings at selected theaters throughout the city for films in various genres, coming from various origins, made by various Asian and Asian American filmmakers. There will also be a plethora of social events scattered throughout different venues.  The official list of films and their schedules can be found here.

I’ll be working at one of the booths at the Festival Forum tomorrow morning through the afternoon.  There will be live stage musical performances, film screenings, as well as contests, promotions, and other interactive projects encouraging participation.  (Word on the street – there will be a live, choreographed Bruce Lee fight scene!)  Tomorrow’s event starts at noon and will last until 10pm.  Come to the Japantown Peace Plaza and stop by to say hello!
